Help! Wood filament stuck in hot end/extruder part?

I was using wood filament and one of my prints turned into massive spaghetti, so I switched nozzles on my Ultimaker 2+ Extended to the .8mm nozzle and I'm currently printing something perfectly. My issue is that there appears to be a large ball of wood filament stuck between the metal part that has the nozzle and the part above that, between the two fans. Is this bad, and if so how do I fix this issue? IMG_0001.thumb.jpg.2f0fa9220be7123bbe5b2d459788b8d1.jpg

    Hi,

    and welcome to the forum.

I'll make it short: yep, that's bad.

You don't want molten filament there. It looks like filament is leaking somewhere and you'll need to take the head apart to remove the filament. That's not very hard to do. Just make sure you find the source of the leak. Maybe something is not tightened down well enough. Most likely the nozzle.
