No, the machine simply does not pause to purge, as soon as the bed reaches the right height, it starts printing.

I see then you are probably printing in reprap gcode and not UltiGCode.
This setting can be changed in the printer settings.
You need reprap to use octoprint for example but if you print for the sdcard then better to use UltiGcode
In reprap mode you have a start and end gcode where you need to specify the purge sequence

Cura was set to UltiGcode in machine setting and generated this gcode:

Should the UltiGCode look like that? It seems to be missing all the initialization stuff?
Okay I did a factory reset of the print and now its working... :S

The purge distance is in the firmware, maybe your Teflon is a bit deformed and that the filament has a hard time to get passed it at the beginning....
Are you experiencing underextrusion?
