Big difference in weight of PETG vs PLA for same print job?

Slicing STL off of Thingiverse for a hydroponic module. Using Cura 5.4, when I slice with PLA, I get a print weight of about 140 grams. When I slice with PETG, I get a print weight of about 220 grams. Taking into account the difference in filament densities, this is still a big jump in weight. Not manually changing printer or any settings between slices. Missing something obvious, just don't know what.....
