VERKAUFT!

Letzte Woche kamen die lang erwarteten GT2 Pulleys, sowie die neuen Wellenkupplungen. Verbaut habe ich noch nichts. Sofern ich bildlich festhaltbare Qualitätsunterschiede an den gedruckten Teilen sehe, reiche ich Fotos nach. Mit der Wellenkupplung für die Z-Achse geht es los. Evtl. vergleiche ich auch nochmal CURA & KISSlicer. Denn der KIS produziert meinen bisherigen Erfahrungen nach, die definitiv schönere Oberfläche. Die optische Qualität der Pulleys geht in Ordnung. Die Teile sind wie bereits geschrieben von Adafruit. Die Wellenkupplungen von einem anderen Hersteller. Alles bezogen über Lipoly.

Hi Micha-Z, ich hatte bisher keinerlei Probleme mit dem 3mm grrf.de Filament in Verbindung mit dem originalen UM1 Schlauch. Greetz Ben

Drucke jetzt seit zwei Tagen das smart ABS von Orbi-Tech. Bestellt bei grrf.de. Viel habe ich aber noch nicht geschafft. Ich drucke auf Glas mit PET Band. Die optimale Temp. für die beste Haftung hab ich noch nicht ganz gefunden. Ich versuche es jetzt gleich mal mit 110°C. Die Nozzle habe ich auf 250°C. Da ich fast ausschließlich mit KISSlicer slice, hab ich dem Ganzen jetzt mal "grid" mit auf den Weg gegeben - mal schauen. Im Gegensatz zum normalen ABS hab ich fürs smart ABS auch wieder den Lüfter voll mitlaufen. Die 30% weniger warp gegenüber normalen ABS lassen sich auf jeden Fall bestätigen. Ich konnte einen hohlen Testwürfel ohne Deckel mit 1,6mm Wandstärke schnurgerade hochziehen. Bei anderen Objekten, hat es bei 100% infill dann halt die Ecken des Bodenlayers ganz leicht angehoben. Darum lasse ich beim nächsten Druck nur die Aussenhülle aktiv kühlen. Beim infill geht der Lüfter aus.. mal sehen ob es damit behoben ist.

Ich kann grrf.de auch nur empfehlen. Son Druckbild kenne ich übrigens vom Druck mit schwarzem UM ABS (kompl. ohne Lüfter). Problem ist dabei, dass die einzelnen Layer (mMn. das Filament) recht stark warpen, wenn der darunterliegende infill relativ grob ist (25 - 0%). Je dichter der infill, desto kürzere "Brücken" müssen gebaut werden - was aber im Umkehrschluss bei ABS ja bekanntlich zu anderen Problemen führt.

GT2 belts as bulk stock you can also buy in Germany. The reason why I want to use 606mm endless belts is, that they fit without any clamp or tensioner. I already talked to jumpmobile via PM about it: I currently plan a YX sliding block which has a GT2 clamp included. That can maybe be a cheaper alternative to the endless belts. You want to buy it in Germany, right? Have a look at lipoly.de. They sell the Adafruit parts. I never bought anything there - but the prices are implausible cheap. I'm not sure.. Normally you need the 6mm belt width.

Ok, sounds logic. And of course the bush bearings work well. But I think they will have the biggest abrasion of all bearings too. Anyway, that's are all just thoughts about possibilities. I like snowygrouch's explanation about the sinter bearings. Some months ago I revised the gear from my scooter. It also has a big sinter bearing inside. I read about it in the repair manual and they written that you have to use a special sinter oil to insert the axle after working. Just for safety. Shortly: this oil was very expensive and really difficult to purchase in small bottles. I got it from a friend who repairs record players. Maybe I try this one. I don't think, that the original bush bearings are sintered ones!?

I want to reactivate this old thread, because of snowygrouch's answers. I read them the first time. This bearing from the link is a linear one. So it's actually for linear motion without an inner rotating axle like our outer 8mm UM ones, right? Just an idea / question: Is there any special reason why we don't use bearings like the flat ones for the frame? Two for each slider block. One on the left side and one on the right side. Ball bearings can handle the linear motion (or not?) and are made for radial forces and an rotating axle. Something new about the shipping costs: B&B Man. would send the belts by USPS using a Flat Rate Box. If we take more than 8 belts we need a Medium Flat Rate Box. With that box we can grab up to 24 belts, maybe 28. The shipping costs for the Medium Flat Rate Box are 59.95USD (44,35€) plus an additional insurance up to 200.00USD for 4.75USD (3,51€). Altogether we have an amount of 64.70USD (47,87€). In addition, in Germany we have to pay the VAT of 19% for the goods and shipment. Besides this there are no custom charges until 202.00USD (150,00€). That means: we really need a few more people.

Zusätzlich zu den Versandkosten halte ich eine Versicherung für den Wert des Inhalts für sinnvoll. Die ist dann auch relativ günstig: - Versicherungshöhe 51$ - 100$ = 2,61€ - Versicherungshöhe 101$ - 200$ = 3,51€ Rechnen kann man also im Durchschnitt mit rund 47,86€ für den versicherten Versand. Geteilt auf die Anzahl der Beteiligten, kann sich das ja Jeder selber ausrechnen. Hierzulande kommen dann noch 19% MwSt. hinzu. Zollfrei ist das Ganze bis 150€. Wir brauchen mehr Leute!

Yes you're right. But for the omnibus order only the belts are interesting, because they are nearly impossible to purchase in Germany in the right length. For the pulleys I recommend www.lipoly.de. That's a dealer in Germany for Adafruit parts. I bought my pulleys there too. The price is good imho and you don't have to pay high shipping or customs. So far I haven't any response from the dealer in the USA about the shipping costs. They will answer in the next days for sure. I've started the non-binding list of interested persons under my first post and added you, alright?

Vermutlich liegt der unterschiedliche GCODE-Aufbau an der unterschiedlichen SteamEngine Version. Bei mir ist es die 13.07 und bei dir die 13.10.
