There is no release date for the 0.25mm print core ?
-
Thanks !
-
You can find the logs here : https://we.tl/CvjfNsZWJ4
-
Can you send the log files (using something like wetransfer) please?
Yes, I will after the current print.
-
The firmware is the latest. The bug appears after a print fail (Ultimaker 3 gcode in Cura instead of Ultimaker 3 Extended). This should be managed without rebooting the UM3.

Hello,
Everytime I use one of my 3 Ultimaker 3, every time I have a bug :
-
Thanks !
-
Yes, I need to write on the print core the UM3 and the slot.
-
For instance to change the AA core to BB core. And in the future 0.25mm nozzle, I use it a lot on the UM2+.
I disable auto calibration because manual leveling does a better job and I do not use wifi because I always need to be near the printer (insert filament, verify the beginning of the print).
It's interesting to have the 2 points of view.

From my point of view, the UM3 is not reliable at all compared to the UM2+
i'll agree that there are more things that could go wrong but i definitely disagree with the reliability..
running 5 UM3s compared to running 5 UM2s is a total breeze.. the UM3 is much more reliable in my experience..
What kind of issues do you have on the UM2 ?
issues I had.. i replaced them all with UM3.. ;-)
so i thought about it and i'm not going to list them :)most of them are solved with the UM2+..
for me, the biggest thing is the replaceable print heads.. any issue.. at all... heater, temp sensor, nozzle, heater block.. whatever.. replace it under a minute.. no downtime.. well worth it
I have no issues with 2+ but a lot with 3. When you replace the printcores, you always need to do the x/y calibration, it's a waste of time.

The old glass with round corners was pretty and safe.
-
The angle is not "functional", so it will always work. But or a 4430€ printer, we don't want a chinese Prusa glass ...
-
My UM3 has been repaired ! They have replaced the cable from the motherboard to the print head. So, it was again a faulty Ultimaker 3 !

Thanks @SandervG
I have sent the glass plates back in order to replace them.
Whhen I buy an Ultimaker product, I have hardware or software issues with half of them ! I wanted to highlight each issue (you can find the history of my issues on the forum).

From my point of view, auto level is a waste of time. Manual level avoid errors.
Please be aware that Active Leveling also measures the Z-offset between nozzle 1 and 2. It does so more accurately than most users can.
Yes, only if nozzles has been cleaned ... manually

Hey @fabreax, did you get any closer with your profile?
I will send you my profile by PM.

Are the lines on there like that all the time? Or only intermittently or only once?
Only once, after a off/on, everything is ok.

The 3.6.9 testing version fix the need to reboot the UM3 after each print (no file found on the USB stick).
I have an ERR18 with only one UM3 and only one printcore, is it a possible issue of the 3.6.90 version ?
