  1. Couple things. 1. So far, I have only used AA0.4 cores and had the issue. I am loading a AA0.8 to test. 2. Fan is definitely running when I heat the core. Haven't watched a print yet. 3. It has only happened when printing from Slot1. Slot 2 has printed fine. 4. Currently running firmware 6.2.2.0 though I think it happened on the last version as well. 5. Will test rooiejoris method if it happens again.
  2. Pretty sure I'm seeing a similar issue. Can guarantee that the filament is melting at the top of the print core. I can see where it has ballooned out at the top of the print core and will no longer feed into it. Additionally, because of the ballooning, the filament cannot be pulled out either. I had to wind up using a small saw to cut through the filament to pull out the core. I have had this with 3 cores now. Originally, it happened with an older core, but I tried a new one and then a new core with a brand new filament as well. I tried hot pulls as well (didn't work) and cannot even push it through (I have tried heating the core to 250-270 and pushing using a cleaning rod) and it doesn't budge.
  3. That was the fix, indeed. Thank you, Shadowman.
  4. All was done connected to the same network. All connected to the same network (and both WiFi and LAN for the S5), I did the following. Within Cura, trying to preview a print brings up a black screen with the little page and X in the upper left corner (as though the file/stream fails to load). Within Cura Connect, trying to preview a print brings up a black screen with the little page and X in the upper left corner (as though the file/stream fails to load). Within the Ultimaker App on the iPhone, trying to preview a print brings up a black screen , though I do not believe I saw the X on that one. On two Win10 PC's (same ones that I load Cura on), using Chrome, I.E. or Edge and typing the ULR http://IPADDRESS:8080/?=Snapshot I see the snapshot fine. On the same two Win10 PC's (same ones that I load Cura on), using I.E. or Edge and typing the ULR http://IPADDRESS:8080/?=Stream I get a prompt to download ?=Stream.txt as a file. On the same two Win10 PC's (same ones that I load Cura on), using Chrome and typing the ULR http://IPADDRESS:8080/?=Stream, I see the live stream fine.
  5. I will second that. I thought much the same and then had the filament run out about 80% way through a 18 hour print (I thought I had enough, of course). Loaded the new roll and away it went. That being said, maybe I missed it but I didn't see anywhere to actually walk through loading a roll as an option. I waited for it to heat up, popped the feeder lever (another great item) and pushed a bit of the new roll in then closed the level. Either way, absolutely awesome!
  6. I just picked up an S5 and noted that it has issues displaying the webcam in applications. It fails to load in either Cura (3.4.1, 3.5 and 3.5.1) or the Ultimaker iPhone app. I have tested with the URL as well. Using the /?action=stream it will try to initiate a download in Edge (Win10) and works fine in Chrome. Using the /?action=snapshot works in both browsers. I have tried this on multiple PC's/phones as well. My UM3 does work fine through the same applications.
  7. I am only attempting to print from one core currently. Right now, for detailed items, I use the 0.4 core and 0.06 layer height and have played with the settings. What I want to do is to keep the 0.4 in Slot 1 for larger prints and the 0.25 in Slot 2 for smaller/more detailed prints but still printing from one core at a time. I was surprised that there are no profiles, I suppose, other than the 0.1 layer for the 0.25 core. Thanks for the reply.
  8. I recently purchased an AA.25 core to perform detailed prints. When I installed it (AA.4 in Slot 1 and AA.25 in Slot 2) I am only given the option to print with a fine layer (0.1) on both the 0.4 and 0.25 cores loaded with PLA. If I manually switch the core back to a 0.4, then I'm able to select the Extra Fine, Fine, Normal and Draft options. When selecting Recommended for printing, I still only get 0.1 and it says that "The quality profile is not available for your current material and nozzle configuration."
