  1. Check your Print Sequence setting, down at the bottom of the list under Special Modes. If it's set to "One at a Time," try changing it to "All at Once" and see if that clears things up. If that doesn't change anything, it might be a problem with the model itself. Sometimes some stray/invisible geometry can change the overall dimensions of a part, even though you can't actually see the extra bits.
  2. Thank you! LOL In all seriousness, I do love this program. I've tried all of the other slicers, including the expensive one, and I always settle back on Cura. I'm really just a little disappointed that I can't try any of the newest features yet, and my 3.0.4 (re)install is still working perfectly, so I'll just be patient with the new release for now.
  3. I did some testing. I completely removed the other two versions of Cura that I keep installed, including manually removing leftover files from the %APPDATA% folders. Installed 3.1.0 completely clean, as if this machine had never seen Cura before. Success! It actually ran! ...Until I tried to import my 3.0.4 profile, and then it froze up and crashed. There is something seriously wrong with 3.1.0. I know I shouldn't complain about free software, and believe me, I'm very grateful that Cura exists because it's the only slicer I like to use...but I've never had a single problem with any version from 15.x, up through, 2.x, and into 3 now until this particular release. Some guidance, or even acknowledgement that there's an issue, would be greatly appreciated at this point.
  4. It works. It doesn't work for me, unfortunately. Also never had the beta installed, I generally only use the release versions, so no wayward profiles for me to delete. The program simply doesn't run, and doesn't leave anything in any of the log files to tell me what's going on.
  5. It's only the first post. You are approved now so post away. We get a LOT of spammers. Some times 400 spams in one day. Apologies for the overreaction. I swear I'm here for/to help! (edit) I just tried to run 3.1.0 again. On my end of things, both stderr.log and stdout.log are blank, 0KB files. Running as admin had no effect. My existing install of 3.0.4 is running like a champ though, no problems at all.
  6. What kind of forum requires moderator review for every single post? Ridiculous. Anyway, I guess it's a toss-up as to whether this reply or my actual post about the same problem shows up first, but...it doesn't work for me either. Splash screen shows up, gets to "loading interface", and then disappears and Cura doesn't run. Never happened to me with any other version.
  7. I've never had a problem like this with any other version, and I'm confused. The splash screen will come up, and goes through all of the normal "loading this and that" stuff, but after "loading interface" the splash screen just disappears and the program does not run. Nothing in the Windows Task Manager to indicate that it's running, nothing in the Event Viewer logs, and if there's any kind of crash log from Cura itself I can't seem to find it. I do still have 3.0.4 installed, but it's in a different folder on a different hard drive. I always leave the last version installed until I'm sure the newest one is going to work right. This has never caused any conflicts in the past. Windows 10 Professional 1709 (16299.64), i7-4790, 16GB RAM, nVidia 1050 Ti, if any of that matters.
