  1. I am helping a friend print doll house furniture. Found a bookcase STL file on Thingiverse. It is bigger than desired so I want to scale it down. If I reduce to 50% all is well. But if I reduce to 40%, the desired size, part of the sides of the bookcase go away and some of the books. I see that in preview and it prints the defect as well. I can't figure out why it alters the print. So I tried 41 and 42%. Not till I get to 43% do the sides come back. Some of the books are still missing though. Any thoughts? Lee
  2. I forgot to mention that if I try to print something full size it will of course fall off the edge of the bed. I would like to know if you find anything. Lee
  3. I am using Cura 4.4.0 with an Ender-3. This is the first time I am trying to print something close to bed size. I am printing 200mm long (not too wide) and my bed is 220mm. The actual plate is 235mm. In the slice it looks centered on the bed but when I print it is real close to the near edge, less than 5mm. That means the far edge is 30mm away instead of the 17 it should be. It lost adhesion and crashed the print. If I move the zero location of the bed the head won't clear the bed on start up resets. Why is that and how do I center it. Lee
  4. I am new to 3D and Cura. I expected to find a similar question here with an answer, but didn't. I am using 4.0.0 I created an STL with OpenScad and printed it. I modified it and printed again. I modified once more and now when I hit slice in Cura it just freezes. No progress bar or anything. The preview image seems just fine. I have the same problem with STL files I download. I attached my file. What am I missing? Lee test.stl
