  1. @GregValiant. I hope there is a bug in Cura. I have attached the image with details. Cura Preview shows Skirt is assigned to Right. But Simplify3d clearly shows that Skirt is with Left. @GregValiant As per your suggestions, I tried the following: Skit/Brim changed from 'Not overridden' to 'Extruder 2'. It worked. Print started with Right only. Thank you 🙂
  2. Thanks. The "T{initial_extruder_nr} comes back as T0 and never changes to T1. Yes, I also tried. It came to T0 only In your "Case 1", there should be a T1, and no other "T" lines before the start of the skirt/brim/raft. If that is true and there are no "T" lines and the printer is starting with T0, then the firmware may be configured to always start with T0. I tried with Simplify3d. It works flawlessly. If I select T0, Left will start printing. T1 is for Right, T2 for Duplicate etc This issue is there since 2 years. I hope Cura is not compatible for IDEX machines yet.
  3. Hello All, Using Cura 5.3.1 Custom machine with IDEX configuration. Using Reprap Firmware (RRF). In Printer settings, selected Gcode Flavor as Reprap. Start Gcode is only G28, G29 When we want to print only with the Right extruder, it is becoming very difficult. We tried various options: Case - 1: Select the object for the Right extruder. Slice it and print. Gcode shows as T1, but after G28 and G29 it started printing with T0 without heating. Case - 2: Disable Extruder 1 (Left) Select the object for the Right extruder. Slice it and print. Gcode shows as T1, but after G28 and G29 it started printing with T0 without heating. Case-3: Disable Extruder 1 (Left) Select the object for the Right extruder. In the Right extruder Print setting, change all from 'Not overridden' to 'Extruder 2'. Slice it. Only in this case, it was working.
  4. @GregValiant Thank you for your quick response, I will try the things you informed and respond to this again after two days.
  5. This is our customized CoreXY printer. Build volume 150x150x150mm. Single Z (Cantilever style) moving down.
  6. I would like to slice a pyramid such that I want a layer height of 0.2 mm for first half of the total height (base) and 0.1 mm for the remaining half (Top) of pyramid for smooth layers. Note: I have tried Adaptive layers technique but that’s not what I want. I have seen that I am only able to change some parameter like infill, line width etc. with the help of Support Blockers option. It would be very helpful if you let us know if this option is available here in Cura. If yes, also please inform me how to use it.
  7. I would like to view the preview in cross sectional Views w.r.t planes including mentioning the distance of cutting planes w.r.t Reference planes (co-ordinate system), so that I can know at what height I should stop or pause print at require height (cutting plane distance from cross sectional View). This feature is available in Simplify 3D. It would be very helpful if you let us know if this option is available here in Cura too. If yes, also please inform me how to use it.
  8. I am unable to find stop/end printing at height feature, but I can only find pause at height feature. Stop printing at certain height Feature is available in Simplify 3D but not in Cura. It would be helpful if you let us know that if this feature is / not available in Cura. If available, also help us by explaining how to use it. Note: I have tried using pause at height feature by adding end G codes at that height condition, but it is pausing just for about 10 sec and starting next layer of print. Is there any solution for this?
