Hello everyone I like cura and use it often. But ... I dislike to have its pop-up window while it is loading. How can I remove the progress window when starting Cura up ? With LibreOffice, I have to add --nologo the command line. How to achieve the same with Cura ? I have to say: My computer is under Linux. I'm forced to use the AppImage cause I can not find the Cura 5 in complete version for Debian. Thanks.

Hello everyone, I would like to understand why in Cura, we have those optionnal support for printing. What is the mecanic use of (how does it help to piece to stick better on the plateau): - Skirt ? - Contour ? About Raft, I know and I use it sometime 1) when the piece has a small base, to make sure it sticks good on the plateau; 2) when the surface is very big, to make sure the piece will not present any « bubble » in its attachment to the plateau. Complementary: a) Why « skirt » is set as default. I can see no use of that, but pure waste of filament ? b) How to change the default value without creating a new profile ( Cura 5.4.0 under Linux - appImage) ? Thanks.

Good idea: easy and hopefully working. Tried: yes and no yes: my file stays the same --- no surprise, but the trick works. no: still cura opens the ~/ directory instead of the ~/Impressions_3d as expected.

Hello everyone, I'm using UltiMaker-Cura-5.4.0-linux-modern.AppImage under Debian Linux, My preferences file is ~/.config/cura/5.4/cura.cfg When cura was NOT open, I've changed the file from [local_file] dialog_save_path = ~/Impressions_3D/Sifflets dialog_load_path = to [local_file] dialog_save_path = ~/Impressions_3D dialog_load_path = ~/Impressions_3D The change on dialog_save_path worked But the other (on dialog_load_path) did not. On opening, Cura changes it everytime for a blank line. Why?? Is there anyway to force Cura to keep my change(s) now and i the future ? Thanks.

Bonjour à tous, comment placer ou traiter les pièces afin de réduire - voire éliminer - les nombre de filaments qui se créent entre les pièces imprimées (à l'aide de Cura) ? Disons que j'imprime du PLA, habituellement réglé à 200ºC - devrais-je réduire la température ? - devrais-je éloigner les pièces ? - devrais-je imposer des pauses dans le g-code ? J'aimerais bien imprimer plusieurs pièces en même temps, mais le résultat est décevant: les pièces sont liées entre elles de nombreux filaments disgracieux. Merci de votre attention.

Si tu veux automatiser la modification (sans avoir à ouvrir toi-même le fichier), tu peux faire une modification du code après exportation .txt - Cura - Extensions - Ajouter un srcipt - Rech & Remplacer (Search and replace) - Rechercher « bed_temperature=82 » par « bed_temperature=92 » Et quand t'en as pas besoin, tu ôtes cette macro de la liste des appelées après encodage. --------------- Aussi, tu peux probablement l'option d'établir la température du plateau dans les options d'imprimante: - Cura - Paramètres - Gérer les imprimantes - (Choix de ton imprimante) - Paramètres de la machine - Dans la case « G-cod au démarrage » - Inscrire ta ligne « bed_temperature=92 »

Hello all, with my GeeeTech A10T has a problem. I have to clean the nozzle every 10 minutes or so. Sometimes, I want to do something else than looking at my printer, so I built a script to force pause the printer every X minutes. Did you, first add your printer through: Preferences Configure Cura Printer « Add a printer » Chosse a printer from « off line » list / Chose a printer from « network » list ?

Merci à tous. Je ferme la discussion en disant que j'ai créé mon propre script qui gérera les dégradés de couleur et qui, donc, fera en sorte que la couleur initiale soit définie. Bonjour, avec l'imprimante GEEETECH 10T et Cura 4.8 (Linux Debian) je rencontre ce souci: - Les couleurs sont définies, les filaments sont définis; je sélectionne un objet et en détermine la couleur (rouge (2) , par exemple). Or, le rouge est la troisième couleur (2) de mon imprimante, les deux autres étant blanc (0) et jaune (1) Je m'attends donc à une impression en rouge. - Voici le gcode généré: M163 S0 P0.00 M163 S1 P1.00 M163 S2 P0.00 Peu importe la couleur choisie, Cura ne sait générer que ce code: toujours du jaune!!!! Comment régler ce problème ? Merci de votre attention et votre aide.
