Cura, .gcode model only viewable in Layer view?

Recommended Posts

HI,

I was using Cura yesterday perfect no problem at all.

I boot Cura today, load up a model file and suddenly I cannot view it in any other view other than "Layer" view.

So I was worried it was just my file, so I grabbed a default "example" file that came with the printer, and exact same thing.

Cura itself has an "example" file which is an octopus, i load that - no problem at all !!?!?!?!?

I dont know whats going on !!

The only difference I can see, is the example file that comes with Cura is an .stl file, and all the other files are .gcode - but I am positive for the last week I have been viewing .gcode files iin normal view not just layer view??

    • Taking Advantage of DfAM
This is a statement that’s often made about AM/3DP. I'll focus on the way DfAM can take advantage of some of the unique capabilities that AM and 3DP have to offer. I personally think that the use of AM/3DP for light-weighting is one of it’s most exciting possibilities and one that could play a key part in the sustainability of design and manufacturing in the future.
