Motor and Clamp problem: Grinding Filament Am I missing a part?

Recommended Posts

Posted · Motor and Clamp problem: Grinding Filament Am I missing a part?

see attached photos

the spring appears too long, and only pushes the rotator against the motor drive and the filament gets crushed20160314_114038.thumb.jpg.8ea85f6d548a79ee3dcf7ba9cf5f497d.jpg

I don't know what if any of the photos showed up?

It appears that there should be another spring pushing back against the spring pictured.

I am replying to myself,

I need the spring to be looser, cause it just grinds the filament (see picture)20160314_113827.thumb.jpg.07b70134575d4c0bd65500ab1cba0a0e.jpg
