How do I change the pre-print start position permanently on the UM2?

I have fitted a J-Head block to the UM2 almost successfully except for one more thing, I want to change the Y start position as when the printer is on warmup and the head moves to the front left it is hitting the front by about 15 mm. Do I have to change the firmware somewhere and re-upload to the UM2 or is there a command I can add within some config file somewhere? Thanks in advance!

    You can change the printarea directly in the menu when you use the tinkergnome firmware, which is a good idea anyhow...

    if you want specifically set a different start position in firmware, you'll find some clues here;
