Z axis problem

Recommended Posts

Hello. I am writing for asking about my 3D printer problem. I bought Ultimaker 2 Extended+ and I have used it for about 3 weeks. Recently the printing quality is not good like warping, so I tried to solve this problem recently. I think the problem was may occurred by bad align, so I selected "Maintenance" and then "Build Plate" to align again (I followed the manual "to level the build plate"), but there was an unexpected problem. When I set up this machine first time, the plate fully went up near the nozzle like a manual, but yesterday the plate did not fully rise. It is too far to approach the plate to the nozzle by rotating the button. I attached some photos that I took. How can I solve this problem? Please let me know the solutions. I am looking forward to hearing from all of you soon. Thanks.

    • "Back To The Future" using Generative Design & Investment Casting
Designing for light-weight parts is becoming more important, and I’m a firm believer in the need to produce lighter weight, less over-engineered parts for the future. This is for sustainability reasons because we need to be using less raw materials and, in things like transportation, it impacts the energy usage of the product during it’s service life.
