The best flexible filament for ultimaker 2

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am trying to print a phone case on the ultimaker 2, I found a good material called polyflex however, it only comes in 4 colours and I need it in blue.

I have tried Ninjaflex, but this failed.

So I need someone to point me in the right direction please, as my coursework is due very soon.

Thank you in advance,

Ameila

Maybe it would be an idea to try to fix your problems with Ninjaflex? I bet there are some people around here who have successfully printed with it on the UM2. Speaking of which - do you have the Ultimaker 2 or the Ultimaker 2+? It makes a difference since the feeder was changed in the upgraded model which helps when printing with flexible materials.

    • Taking Advantage of DfAM
This is a statement that’s often made about AM/3DP. I'll focus on the way DfAM can take advantage of some of the unique capabilities that AM and 3DP have to offer. I personally think that the use of AM/3DP for light-weighting is one of it’s most exciting possibilities and one that could play a key part in the sustainability of design and manufacturing in the future.
