Firmware Update Process?

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

GrabCad Print flagged my Stratasys 768 as needing a firmware update (it runs 7.1 at the moment). When I put the printer into update mode, the update utility downloads the firmware and sends it the machine. The machine validates the firmware and prompts to confirm and finish the installation by rebooting. After rebooting, the machine comes back up with the old firmware 7.1, instead of the 10.1.

Do I need to install an intermediate firmware first? If so, where can I get this intermediate firmware from?

Thank you

I did not find the right solution from the internet

    • Taking Advantage of DfAM
This is a statement that’s often made about AM/3DP. I'll focus on the way DfAM can take advantage of some of the unique capabilities that AM and 3DP have to offer. I personally think that the use of AM/3DP for light-weighting is one of it’s most exciting possibilities and one that could play a key part in the sustainability of design and manufacturing in the future.
