Head LED ring

Those are very popular here with the remote controlled airplanes, namely the ducted-fan jets. They can turn it on and it emits red/orange light, mimicking the afterburner (re-heat in UK verbage) of a jet fighter.

I'm not sure where on the Ultimaker you could place that. However there are numerous fuse blocks/12v battery sources you could wire in.

    I cannot help exactly, but it looks a bit like this one:

    which seems to require 1.5W at 12V

    You could put a resistor in series and try to wire back to the main 19V power supply

    I connected a single LED through a resistor to the fan wires on the extruder head:

    my setup only comes on when the fan is on, but it might not be enough to power your LED ring, you'll have to check the Ultimaker schematic.
