Can't print with Cura 3.6 and Printrbot Play but can with Cura 15

Posted (edited) · Can't print with Cura 3.6 and Printrbot Play but can with Cura 15

I have a Printrbot Play and have no issues with Cura 15. I tried using Cura 3.6 and it can detect when the printer is or isn't connected (via USB) but any commands I send it do nothing. Homing does nothing, moving in any direction does nothing, pre-heating does nothing, and printing does nothing. It just sits there never even heating up. I have tried reinstalling, running as admin, re-adding the printer with custom settings, nothing helped. Any ideas?
