Direction of printing.

I want to print two different materials layer by layer on each other. However, after printing 1st layer, the 2nd layer starts from mid of 1st layer which disturbs the 1st printed layer. I tried with combing mode and even enabling oozing mode but the movement of nozzle gets worse when printing so many layers. Are there any other settings in cura to adjust the direction of printing?

Thanks in advance

Theres a shell option called "Z-Seam Alignment," just set that to "User Specified." Not sure if I understand your question, but if I do, that'd be the fix.
