Posted · Anet A6 versus A8 profiles

When I got my 3d printer I downloaded Cura 4.4.1 to do the slicing. There wasn't a profile for the A8, so I took the A6 profile and changed the bed dimensions. All is good.

Version 4.5 is released and there is an A8 profile. Joy! However, I quickly noticed that the time estimate between the A6 and A8 profiles is about 40% longer.

I'm not sufficiently gifted to be able to compare the profiles, so would appreciate if someone could enlighten me on the differences and whether I should invest the additional printing time to use the A8 profile.

Many thanks.

Vince.

Note. Printer is a clone of an A8 (??) but this is purely a question about the time predicted in the software.
