X & Y Axis Switch is stuck or the limit switch is broken

This is the second printer I've had this same issue with...I had to replace the control board on the first. Any idea if there is something else I should be trying before replacing another control board?

I went to start a print and left. I came back and it said the print core was not reading accurately, so I restarted the machine. Booted up and clicked to start a new print, but the X and Y axis did not move. Soon after, it gave me the error message "X & Y Axis Switch is stuck or the limit switch is broken". On the other printer, the stepper motor for the X Axis worked, but the Y did not. This time, neither motor seems to be responding. Any ideas?
