Can't change bed and nozzle heat temp and make it stay....

I've changed the bed and nozzle temps every where I could in the software (printer settings, material, etc) and I finally got the bed to heat to the temp I wanted (50º) and the nozzle (220º), but then a few layers in, the temp jumps to the default 70º (which is way higher than I need) and the nozzle temp drops to the default 215º (which isn't as bad because it still prints)...

help please!

thank you
