About the materials settings

Hi there.
There are some things that are duplicated in the material settings screen and the print settings screen, such as print temperature settings and pull rate, etc. The gcode file outputs the settings from the print settings screen.
Why are there parameters on the material screen?
Best regards.

In short: because a profile with higher priority on the stack can use these subjacent parameters as a base value.

The profile system is explained on the developer wiki:

    https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/wiki/Profiles-&-Settings

    Thank you for your answer.
I found the following in the references.

    > Material.
    >Hold all the settings as defined by the active material.

I guess that means that some parameters are never referenced.
