Hi all,

I wrote a tutorial on http://blog.cubehero.com/2013/11/11/how-to-generate-extruded-3d-model-from-images-in-openscad/ in OpenSCAD. I had wanted to make an iphone cover from a leaf pattern, but didn't want to make it by hand myself. So I took an image of a leaf, and converted it into something OpenSCAD could use.

Enjoy, and lemme know if you have any feedback.

Wil
