so i did what you said about adding qidi i-fast and when trying to use a different material with extruder 2 it does not engage extruder 2, extruder 1 stays engaged..

Mine is working with both. I'm now on Cura 5.8.0 though.

You can save the zip compressed file from the below link on your computer desktop.

Then uncompressed it and copy it on Cura configuration folder then replace the folders.
Reboot the Cura and you can add Qidi printer from drop-down list.
