Posted · Crash............................ when loading model

Hi there all,

So, I am using V5 of Cura and something that has been happening alot of late is that it loads on my Windows PC fine to slice models to a Creality Ender 5 pro.  I can adjust settings, Profiles etc and it saves these, but when I open a .STL file Cura will start the load sequence and then shut down.

I then start Cura again and open the same file from the same location, generally my download file, it will load perfectly well.

I can then slice the model, do everything I need to and save the filew to my SD card.  I may then Clear the build plate and try to open another file.......Crash.... Cura shuts down again and I have to go through the whole procedure again

No, I don't want to try another Slicer, I have only started 3d Printing and have learnt about Cura and I like using it, I would like to know how to fix the issue at hand.

Many Thanks in advaNCE
