Prints stop at 98%

I have a Dremel 3D45.  Dremel's slicer doesn't have tree supports so I downloaded Cura.  It works great, except it only prints to 98 or 99 percent and leaves a bit of a flat spot on top.  This has happened with a couple of different models and the same models didn't have this problem on Dremel's slicer.  Any ideas on what might be the problem?

That can have a couple of causes.  There is a plugin in the MarketPlace and I see that the 3D45 is listed as one of the supported printers.  Are you using that plugin?

Certain model features (like spires, knife edge shapes...anything that ends in a point) never slice to the top because the line width won't allow it.

Load a model that shows the problem and use the "File | Save Project" command and post the 3mf file here.

So...yes, I downloaded the plugin HOWEVER I get the attached message about how my files are corrupt.  It's been there since the moment I downloaded it so I'm not sure what's wrong.  It was printing 99% OK so I was just skipping past the message but that could be an issue lol.  I'll try re-setting and re-installing.  

 

The issue is definitely in the gcode file, when I opened it back up to attach it here, I can see that the top sliver is missing, but I'm not sure why it's slicing that way.

OK, so I definitely had the plugin installed incorrectly and I'm going to try again and see if I'm still having the issue,

I sliced and re-printed and it's still stopping at 98%.  Here is the project file.

I generated a "Imp_-_Looming.g3drem" file.  After renaming it to "Imp_-_Looming.g3drem.gcode" I was able to open it with NotePad.

Everything is in there.  The preview shows layer 1 to layer 277 and the gcode shows layer 0 to layer 276 just as it should.  The file closes out with the Ending Gcode and the Cura "Settings" section.  I don't see any problems with the gcode.

If you are printing via an SD card they can become corrupt and cause the problem you are seeing.  Formatting the card will usually solve the problem.  Beyond that I don't know as I don't know anything about that printer.
