How to generate mid support Z distance to model?

Posted · How to generate mid support Z distance to model?

Hi Support Community!

 

I am trying to 3D print a small model some small "barbs" to hold it in place in a hole. 

When slicing the model, I am not able to generate similar Z-height between support and model. It would like to have that, so that the support is easier to remove. 

 

Any ideas what I need to do?
