I have been using the latest version of Cura for a while with no problems.

 

Recently, I had cause to print very small parts, which would not take a brim, so I went for tabs.

 

On slicing, however, I found that the latest version of Cura does not slice the tabs ..

 

I have gone back to v5.2.01, and it slices the tabs fine.

 

I liked the v5.3 .. is there a fix for this problem? 

 

Or maybe it is user error somehow?
