Posted · Printers disconnect all the time

This has been a long standing problem with the S5's we have, they are all on ethernet. Frequently they disconnect and I have to manually enter an IP address to re-connect them, then I'm left with a long list of the same printer in the profile and CURA doesn't tell me which is the actual one that connects and works, so I have to spend ages figuring out which ones to delete.

This has been happening for years, will it ever get fixed?

    Sorry your having issues.

This is usually related to something going on on your network or local computer..
This very much is not a normal thing.

I would recommend including a machine log file from one of the S5 in question that disappears.
As well as your UlitMaker Cura Log file.
Probably include a screenshot of UltiMaker Cura as well showing the duplicate machines.
