Ender 3 V2: Delay between layers

Hi,

New to the forum and fairly new to printing. Hoping for a little bit of advice on an ongoing issue I've got using Cura and my Creality Ender 3 V2. I am trying to print a fairly straight-forward object using eSUN PETG filament.

The issue I am having is that whatever setting's I seem to adjust, the printer will pause for around 2 seconds between each layer. Where the printer pauses, I get oozing and therefore a seam along the back of the print. Otherwise I am happy with the quality of the print (images attached).

I have tried (amongst a load of other factors):

* Setting: Retract and layer change.

* Setting: Minimum layer time to 5.0 s.

Whatever I alter, I cannot seem to stop this 2 second delay. I never had this quality issue with PLA and managed to make much more complex objects, but the filament definitely oozed less and the imperfections where probably therefore less apparent. If someone could advise on what I can adjust to stop this delay between layers, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hope the video gives a good idea of the problem and thanks in advance for any input.

Many thanks,

Edward
