Hello!

My wife got a 3D printer and I'm trying to set up Cura for her. Unfortunately, when I try to run it, it gets stuck on "Initializing package manager..." (image attached).

I have tried installing it to Program Files, Program Files (x86), and C://.

PC Specs

OS: Windows 11

Version: 10.0.22631

Computer Model: HP Envy x360

System Type: x64

Processor: Intel Core i7

Space: 512GB

RAM: 8GB

EDIT: Log file uploaded

Thx,

T

Your log file shows it running fine, including loading and slicing a model.

I just don't get why it's stuck on the blue screen 😞 Any tips?

I have the same problem. I don't think the problem is solved as marked. Using a previous version is a work around. I am investigating issues related to GPU but no succes yet.

You're better off starting a new thread about it than necro-ing an older thread marked as "solved" if you're looking into it and need assistance or anything. The OP was satisfied with the way they dealt with the problem which is why they marked that as the solution.
