· Replacer filter in Air manager for S5
Hy NAMVn,
What a great option! I have no experiences with the Alevo3D replacement, but I think the brand itself is bona fide. They specialize in air filtration for 3D printers (i'm not affiliated). I actually bought their aftermarket enclosure (this one) to be cut into the side panel of my S5 to have carbon filtration and luckily i have not done that yet, because this option is way better of course.
Looking at the filter I have here, which has the same section view (carbon filter combined with hepa 13 filter), I would not worry about the flow resistance of it compare to the original filter. The most restricting part of the filter is the hepa 13 filter, not the very coarse carbon filter part). So airflow would about be the same.
Furthermore from what I know from the firmware considering the airmanager; the airflow is only monitored to detect a clogged filter. All hepa 13 filters will have higher flow resistance toward the end of their life span, so small deviations by placing a different filter should not give problems.
Considering it's the same price, I'm just going to order and try is, since my filter is up for replacement (again, not affiliated, but I just care about air quality al lot in the room where I print)
In the Cura 5.8 stable release, everyone can now tune their Z seams to look better than ever. Method series users get access to new material profiles, and the base Method model now has a printer profile, meaning the whole Method series is now supported in Cura!
We are happy to announce the next evolution in the UltiMaker 3D printer lineup: the UltiMaker Factor 4 industrial-grade 3D printer, designed to take manufacturing to new levels of efficiency and reliability. Factor 4 is an end-to-end 3D printing solution for light industrial applications

Thank Dennis..so much for your advice. I also worries a lot about air quality from 3d printer, even with S5. I will get one from them. I will report.
And,it would be great if you could share a photo of this filter in your S5, to see it fits well. I'm so curious!
Anyway, thanks again for your help!
