Back from Makerfaire

Recommended Posts

I just got home from the Bay area Makerfaire this past weekend and picked up a UM2. The Maker Shed had 40 UM2's in stock and as of Sunday it looked like there were quite a few left. They told me the remainder will be available online after the show. If you want to purchase one, you may want to keep an eye on the online store to see when they are listed. Here is a coupon code for 10% off: MFBA2014 . Not sure if it will work but give it a try.

    • Taking Advantage of DfAM
This is a statement that’s often made about AM/3DP. I'll focus on the way DfAM can take advantage of some of the unique capabilities that AM and 3DP have to offer. I personally think that the use of AM/3DP for light-weighting is one of it’s most exciting possibilities and one that could play a key part in the sustainability of design and manufacturing in the future.
