Hello guys,

This is my first post here and unfortunately it's with an issue.

It started last night during a 10 hour print: https://www.dropbox.com/s/sxryglbjkiq8eot/IMG_1632%20copy.jpg

As you can see, there are a few distorted layers and the piece broke in half when I removed it.

I re-calibrated the bed, tried a new print (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:265525/#files) and again the same problem as you can see below:

print speed: 50mm/s

layer height: 0.1 mm

fill: 15%

Any thoughts on this?

Thank you

    Thank you for you response.

Now that I know the name of the issue I can start searching for solutions. As for the temperature - I'm using the standard temperature profile for PLA (from the printer).

I've removed the white filament I was using and it seems there was a clog in the extruder - changing it cleaned it and I did a good print afterwards.

I will look for a solution to have the spool/loose filament somewhere below the printer as I see it's a popular way to avoid underextrusions.

Do different color filaments behave in different ways during printing? Matte versus translucent, white vs black ?
