Posted · Cura 14-7 "Lay Flat" also rotates

I have a carrot shaped object symmetrical designed in a CAD program oriented length-wise on the X axis and the top half cut away.

I imported it into Cura and rotated it 180 degrees to have the flat side down. Worked like a charm!

For the hell of it I also clicked on "Lay-Flat" although not needed. It rotated the "carrot" sideways to line up one of the edges on the X-axis which then results in non-symmetrical printing. I think the "Lay-flat" command should not affect the rotational axis.
