Only Printing bottom layer?

I have just finished building my Ultimaker Origional + yesterday and printed the robot without many problems. I tried to do and Eiffel Tower and it only prints the first few layers before no more PLA plastic comes out. I had the nozzle at 220C, the bed at 60C and the speed was 30 mm/s. The layer height was .06mm. The first time barely any plastic came out but the printer went through all the motions. I tried again and it was very choppy. Is this a feeder problem or is the temperature wrong?

Way to go with one of the most challenging print :). I never tryed it but it is apparently very challenging. Look at the slicimg resuly in Cura using the layer view just to make sure the piece is not missing parts. Especially if you scaled down a version.

At 220C it will be very stringy due to all the retraction it has to do.

Probably the temp is too high for the speed and layer height. Try at 200C or even at 190C.

Ho and welcome! Congrats on building your UMO+.

Can you upload some picture of the robot and the results of your tower? You will need to had them in the Gallery first and then add insert them in your post.

Here is the robot. We fixed the problem! The lever in the feeder was not popped in all the way. Glad it's the biggest problem. I still don't know how to make his hands though. Do I use support structures on his hands and front and back?

Oh, that would make a huge difference. I'll find some ones with support, thanks!
