  1. I had the same problem and it ended up being related to a broken temperature sensor, I replaced the wiring and sensor and everything worked again after that.
  2. I'm having the same exact problem. (ultimaker orginal usb only) This has been happening since a few days. it did fix itself for one print after I installed the newer cura version (moved from 3.5.1 to 4.0) but the error returned after one print. I did send some manual g code to the printer and G28 (move to home) works, but I'm unable to move the axis with G0-1, and extrude material. The strange thing is however that when starting a print it's able to move to home, extrude at home , move to the centre and then just stops. Sometimes the temperature indicator also drops to 0 after hitting the centre. I assume g code is still being send from the pc however since the process indicator is going up. I did try fixing it with upgrading the firmware but that had no effect.
  3. my guess is that you are extruding to much try reducing the fill density to 40-50%.

  5. i seem to have some kind of communication problem with my ultimaker since the new cura (updateted from 12.08 to 12.12A). this is my communication log. "Changing monitoring state from 'Offline' to 'Opening serial port' Connecting to: COM11 Connected to: Serial(port='COM11', baudrate=115200, bytesize=8, parity='N', stopbits=1, timeout=2, xonxoff=False, rtscts=False, dsrdtr=False), starting monitor Changing monitoring state from 'Opening serial port' to 'Connecting' Recv: ?nP Recv: =?j??Jl?J%[LZ?k%aL)?&>|Y?V?n6 Recv: J?Z?z?J?z?J?J?{?X?:&?+^>H?$P|?%?%?%H%?x??+^^J??^IJO.X?+^^X?J?j?AHJ?aHJP|@_a?&&??$ M6CL Recv: IM^+ Recv: ?6L Recv: I?6XH^C??&h?H Recv: I?&(^l Recv: x? Changing monitoring state from 'Connecting' to 'Closed' Connection closed, closing down monitor" i tryed upgradeing the marlin software againg but doesnt seem to make a difrence when i did. changing the baud rate from 250000 to 115200 didnt work. swamping usb ports didnt work and neither did changing the usb cable itself for anothere one. hopefully somebody knows what to do since im a bit at a dead end.
  6. my pla material seems to be jamming inside of the tube. this inner radius of the tube is too small which causes the material to get stuck when proper tension is set on the extruder part. it makes small dents in the pla material which cause it to get stuck in the tube.
  7. seemed to have been a problem with the auto-detection of the com port i use on my laptop (com11). everything seems to be fine for now. going to try my first print the next day.
  8. for some reason my connection between my ultimaker and my laptop seems to be unstable. when i try to get past the first run wizard in cura 12.07. i am able to connect to my ultimaker and upload the firmware but when i try to connect for testing it seems to lack connection from time to time. this problem happens randomly but on a high rate. about 4 out of 5 times when i try to connect to my ultimaker. im using windows vista as operating system
