Ok I got it thank you for the help After cleaning the nozzle one more time I finally managed to make it !

I did not manage to make the nozzle touch the aliminium :( what should I do ?

ok so I have to plug it and heat it at 200 ?

So I need to make the reassembly when parts are hot ? i almost unmounted the whole head in order to install the bowden clamp to stop the bowden tube from popping out (i think that's what caused the clog)

Hello, I had to remove the nozzle from the aluminium heater in order to clean and unclog it. Now i am trying to put it back but i cannot get it to fit into the aluminium block. There is a 1mm gap between the aluminium and the nozzle. What should I do to get it back in place ? thank you for your help !

I think I can get a better result by printing it in 3 parts and at a bigger scale ! but at this size (max height of UM1) I am not sure. Did someone try to print this Tour Eiffel ?

Today I wanted to print something harder so i tried this thing: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:53279 and here is the result at normal size with layer at 0.1, shell 0.4 and speed 50 It took about 3 hours to complete. The quality isn't really good but I am currently printing a better version scaled up ( 0.06 layer speed 30 I will post the result when finished

Hello, I just finished my first print with the UM original and it is really nice ! But I had to launch the print from my imac because the ulticontroller don't see the files I added to the sdcard. I tried to format the card twice (first from my mac and another time from windows XP) as FAT32 but still nothing. The ulticontroller notice that the sdcard is inserted but when entering it there is only a "main" option that get me back to the previous menu. Any idea on what can be wrong ?
