  1. Sorry but you need to learn how to FINE tune the Esteps after using that number as 'starting point'

    https://www.google.es/search?q=calibrazione+3d+steps+italian

    OK Thanks!

But you have a page which explains directly for a Ultimaker2?

Which describes step by step how to do it on a Ultimaker2

Because there are many search results in google but no shows how to make specifically on a ultimaker2.

  2. Just a silly question... The nozzles you are using are for 1.75mm or are you using 3mm nozzles?

Also, you need to calibrate the esteps, fine tunning. I left you a video on one of the posts you did with a tutorial video.

I'm using the nozzles of 1.75 mm.

I will modifcato the ESTEP like you said to me.

I inserted the file on the SD card and then from the printer display or clicked printing.

  3. How to improve print quality while avoiding the under-extrusion?

I converted my Ultimaker2 to the filaments from 1,75mm because it is easier to find them and more because they are available in very different materials that it is impossible to obtain with the filaments from 2,85mm, filaments that now almost no printers Production of business uses.

The problem is that I always have so little material in hotend my prints are under-extrusion.

How can I solve this problem?ritrazione.thumb.jpg.23e3b3e7205bec41f975921924fb11f5.jpg

  4. It lasted 2 Years!? They are suppose to last 100h...

Since the sensor it's broken, the ptfe it's dead, you might want to move to TFM coupler (can print for 500-2000h)

    https://ultimaker.com/en/resources/22188-how-to-replace-the-tfm-coupler

If you just want to buy another PTFE coupler and replace it:

    http://support.3dverkstan.se/article/56-replacing-the-ptfe-coupler

These have replaced them by buying the kit for filaments from 1,75mm and PTFE and everything they needed directly from 3DSolex.

  5. Yeah, underextrusion is what you get with the wrong e-steps setting, since the feeder feeds to little filament in this case... That is why you need to set the e-steps setting and calibrate it correctly.

    Perfect! Thank you!

I have done as you say, I put the file in the SD card and then I did print!

But I launched a print and still have underextrusion.

I increased the material flow up to 120% and now goes well, I think I still have to improve ESTEP.

How did you calculate the ESTEP?

  6. I realized that I need more speed of the feeder, I need the thread nell'hotend push more quickly for that reason I underextrusion I helped I manually pushing the wire while the feeder was in action and saw that the stream was fine , what I could do because it was the first tier one who adheres to the print flat and I already saw a lot sottoestrusione while in the corners where there was need less material I had no problem.

  7. I don't know what settings with high quality are, but since you are using 1.75mm you should adjust many parameters to print right. Post the full settings used not just the name of the profile.

And sorry this I don't understand "but I perferzionare the part of the speed of thrust and retraction of the filament."

Retraction speed 25mm/s should be ok, the problem might be the 'Minimum distance to retract' Since you use 1.75mm you can lower that value to 0,50mm or 1,00 (if your feeder isn't perfect) to allow the Slicer to retract before moving from one point to another. Also increase the TRAVEL speed (not printing) to 150-180-200mm/s.

I don't use much cura at all, so other settings maybe someone else can jump in and help you.

    perfezionare = perfect!

my reference values of retraction are set manually on the machine via the display.
