now i'm curious :)which shop gave the blue tape advice? The only official Belgium reseller for Ultimaker (according to this site), Trideus.be Don't shoot them, they were extremely friendly to me!

hmm ok, I was only doing what the shop told me to do. So I'll get rid of the blue tape, clean my printbed with alcohol, re-calibrate my printbed and post feedback soon.

nope, I didn't clean it with alcohol. What kind of alcohol should I use and should I clean the bed before each print? I'll also re-calibrate my printbed. Are my settings for printing ok? (the screenshot 1 & 2 in the initial post)

hello, I'm using an Ultimaker 2 and PLA (original from ultimaker) filament. I always add 20 lines of brim but they were removed before I took the picture.

Hello people, I'm kinda new to 3D printing... So sorry for being noobish. I'm not even sure this is the correct forum I'm posting. 8) I have no problems with small prints with my Ultimaker 2 But as soon as I start printing larger objects it goes terribly wrong... The last print (the Frozen statue) was printed with these settings = screenshot 1 and screenshot 2 What am I doing wrong? Are any settings wrong or any other advanced settings that need to be enabled and adjusted? Any help is appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance. Frederiek
