Hi, I would like to make a print, a 'drawing line' from a photo. When I put in the jpeg file into Cura, I only can choose ' darker is higher'. In former Cura-programs I could also choose 'lighter is higher'. Does someone know how to change it? It seems available, but the text is grey so I cannot choose it. Thank you in advance! Martine

Hi, I would like to make an embossing stamp. So I want to print a picture, once 'lighter is higher' and once 'darker is higher'. But when I choose my file, I cannot select one of the options, Cura always makes 'darker is higher'. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I just got the last version from Cura, 4.10.0 Thanks for your help! Martine

Ik probeer een architectuurmodel te printen, echter hij print niet, omdat Cura denkt dat hij geen materiaal verbruikt. Is dus meteen klaar met printen, nog voor hij gestart is.... hoe los ik dit op? Ik heb al ingevoerd dat ik PLA gebruik.... Zie post hierboven (foto)

Hi, I want to print an architectural model. It is originally in .obj. In .obj my printer seems to start, but time to print is unknown. When I start the job, it is finished in 2 seconds, my printer tells me the job is finished. So didn't print at all. I tried to convert to .stl, but it is still the same.... who can help me? Original the model is made in sketchup. Thanks for your help

Door een negatieve Z waarde in te geven kan ik dit inderdaad onder het glas laten verdwijnen.... alleen dan nog de lijnen dikker zien te maken.

Beste Kees, Dank voor het antwoord. Ik heb 2 afbeeldingen bijgevoegd, in GIMP heb ik een .xcf plaatje gemaakt, een 'spirograafafbeelding' zonder onderlaag. Als ik het echter als plaatje opsla zie ik dat hij er een witte achtergrond van maakt. Ik heb het bestand geconverteerd naar .jpg en dit ingevoerd in Cura (plaatje). De onderlaag krijg ik hierbij niet weg..... Graag zou ik alleen de spirograaftekening willen printen, dus alleen het rode van het rechterplaatje. Alvast dank voor de hulp! mvg Martine

Ik zou graag een spirograph-tekening in 3d willen printen, maar kom er niet uit hoe ik dat moet doen. Een spirograph tekening maak ik via inspirograph, als ik deze invoer in Cura print hij ook de onderlaag. Ik wil hem dus losmaken van de onderlaag, zodat alleen het figuur wordt geprint, maar hoe doe ik dat? Heb geen fotoshop, wel GIMP (ligt erop) Wie weet een oplossing of een manier om dit voor elkaar te krijgen ?

I would like to 3D print a spirograph drawing, made online by inspirograph. The program I want to take the drawing of from the background is GIMP, because I don't have photoshop. The program looks quite similar. Doe someone know how to fix this? Or do I have to use another program? When I enter the drawing in Cura just as it is, Cura also prints the background, so I want to take of the background, that only the drawing is printed. Thanks in advance for your answer

My son has an Iphone 6, several times he has to clean the 'charging hole', because some dust or tissue from his jeans pocket is inside, so it doesn't charge anymore. I would like to print a 'dummy plug' which we could plug in the charging hole, so no dust can get in it. I already looked at Youmagine and Thingiverse, but can't find a model...
