The best way, is to be able to set the static IP, the same way you do for a computer.
I don't know if the firmware is capable to do so.
But only if you want to.
For example my UM3 had choose 192.168.1.6 (ok for me)

3 spring of the bed, they're the same ?
I had to disassembly the aluminium plate because it was a lot of dirt beneath .

Bed adhesion : glue stick from kit, and a wet paper towel to spread it.
Support: Raft is mandatory.
Bed temp: 107 C (from Cura Polycarbonate profile)
I have printed without door. If you have it is better.
Also in Cura 2.5 is a button to preheat the bed before start printing.

Error handling is the cornerstone of any programmer.
So, no. Is not ok to cut power.
PS. Also for manual leveling, an option for abort will be useful.
If something is wrong during leveling, you have to do the procedure till the end.

I asked, because it seams maybe will have a ruby nozzle for Ultimaker 3 by Olsson.

The build plate is
