  1. I found a bug in 2.6.2 If I added this to the machine start code ;Slice at: {day} {date} {time} ;Adhesion type: {adhesion_type} ;Layer height: {layer_height} ;First layer height: {layer_height_0} ;Retraction amount: {retraction_amount} ;Support enable: {support_enable} ;Wall thickness: {wall_thickness} ;Speed print: {speed_print} ;Top thickness: {top_thickness} ;Bed temperature: {material_bed_temperature} ;Min infill area: {min_infill_area} ;Infill density: {infill_sparse_density} ;Print temperature: {material_print_temperature} ;Fan Speed: {cool_fan_speed} Cura didn't add this lines to the gcode file M190 S50 M104 S200 M109 S200 I manually added them my self but it sound like a bug in the older version, is this fixed in 2.7 ? TIA Daniel
  2. Hello again, I edited the profiles that comes with Cura to match my Wanhao printer, I can't find the Fine profile file? I like my layers to be from 0.16 to 0.32 with steps of 0.04 I can't find what's sets the brim setting in the profiles.
  3. Ya I'm using Notepad++ , but the gcode only have layer hight and build time nothing more. I thought you hade made some changes in Cura to get more data. I rarely use CURA project files, another file to save.
  4. Ya it's the downside of having in the filename but easier to see in example Octoprint. How did you add the info ?
  5. Hello, Is it possible to have printer settings be described in the gcode file or in the filename ? I see that the layer height is in the file but I like to have more. Or save the file like this WIV5_xyzCalibration_cube_LH0.1_IF30_PT210_BT50_PS40_TS60_PJ20_TJ30_TL8_BL5_WT1.6 You can customise your own save file format like this: %filename_LH%LayerHight_PT%PrintTemp_ and so on So you can go back to a file you exported few month back and check the settings TIA
  6. I seeing the same, So if you use custom profiles the material settings aren't applied? I'm testing "fine", it has brim settings and the speed is 60mm/s, Don't need a brim and want to go slower so it's not a working "fine" profile for me. If you like to use custom profiles you need to make one for each material ?
  7. Don't do that. You can remove the subfolders from the quality folder if you want, but it is better to leave the rest of the files. At the very least, Cura needs the normal.inst.cfg file. Ok thanks Then I don't understand when to use Material settings and when to use profiles. Profiles saves Material settings.
  8. Hmm, I renamed the quality folder and created a new one(to make a copy), now I can't manage my own profiles.
  9. Not that they are bad just that I don't use them. I tried to remove all material from the program folder but then the printer settings was reset. I can't create my own materials and profiles
  10. Hello, I'm running Cura 2.6 Beta and I have a question regard material/profiles/printers. I like to remove all material/profiles/printers that I don't use. How can I do that? TIA Daniel
