Well for 5.2.2 the market place does not reveal installed plugins for 'com' or 'serial'. Seems like it was folded in the the overall distro. There is a new plugin 'USB Printing NG' that is NOT installed on my system. I have tried installing it hoping it would override the com port search, but it did not. Release notes indicate to disable original Com plugin but i can't find that setting anywhere.
