Cura wont connect to arduino mega.

I'm trying to get the reprap at my maker space working (the builder has long since moved away). It powers up fine the board lights up and what not. Yet whenever I press print to USB in the GUI the printing window pops up with "opening serial port" at the top and wont move past that. The computer I am trying to print from is running Ubuntu 14.04.

You probably don't have the right drivers but start here:
