how to install new heater cartridge and temp sensor?

so my printer suffered a catastrophic failure and i basically need all the main hot end parts. i know how to do everything except attach the heater cartridge and the temp sensor to the circuit board side of the printer, i havent looked to see how it connects, is it just a plug? do i need to solder it?

You have connectors that you just need to plug in the electronic card

What printer do you have? The build manual is usefull for this i can give you the link if you have a UM2
