Can i use cura on my prusa i3?

Recommended Posts

Since the last version doesn't have the Prusa profile, and as you are just starting with 3D printer, I recommend you to download a previous version (The last I have used is version 15.02.1).

The other way is to create a profile for your printer on the new Cura, looking at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Cura_15.06.01\resources\settings" (or equivalent on another OS)

Hi Stef,

Regarding to your message, you just need to move the profile file to the directory I said before.

You should also probably take a look on RepRap wiki and forums to learn more about 3D printing, or even here at Ultimaker forum you will be able to find a lot of useful information to start printing.

    • Taking Advantage of DfAM
This is a statement that’s often made about AM/3DP. I'll focus on the way DfAM can take advantage of some of the unique capabilities that AM and 3DP have to offer. I personally think that the use of AM/3DP for light-weighting is one of it’s most exciting possibilities and one that could play a key part in the sustainability of design and manufacturing in the future.
