Got a spare Ultimaker Mainboard and Power supply, what printer to build with it?

Hello,

I modified an Ultimaker Original Plus to use a Diamond hotend. I had to replace electronics and power supply, so I now have these parts sitting in my drawer and wonder what to do with them.

I am looking for suggestions what to do with them, for example, building another 3D-printer with simpler mechanics or that it is fun to build for some other reason.

Do you have any ideas?

Best regards,

Axel

How did you successfully install the head? did you follow the instructions from this page? http://reprap.org/wiki/Ultimaker_Diamond

and did you follow the Ultimaker 2 version? or the Original version?

I'm mostly curious to see if you had to drill holes to relocate your end stops.
