New to Ultimaker- why is this happening?

Hello,

I'm brand new to Ultimaker and am trying to get the settings right. I printed this ring with text on it and while most of it printed fine at a certain point in a few of the letters it seemed that the printer was extruding too much plastic. What settings should I tweak to fix this? Any help would be appreciated!

Printed too fast I think... and bed too hot !
