New to Ultimaker- why is this happening?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm brand new to Ultimaker and am trying to get the settings right. I printed this ring IMG_1615.thumb.JPG.efb4b4b079610cc23122501078ad9128.JPG with text on it and while most of it printed fine at a certain point in a few of the letters it seemed that the printer was extruding too much plastic. What settings should I tweak to fix this? Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

    • Taking Advantage of DfAM
This is a statement that’s often made about AM/3DP. I'll focus on the way DfAM can take advantage of some of the unique capabilities that AM and 3DP have to offer. I personally think that the use of AM/3DP for light-weighting is one of it’s most exciting possibilities and one that could play a key part in the sustainability of design and manufacturing in the future.
